			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Dalié Jiménez graduated <em>cum laude </em>from <a href="http://www.law.harvard.edu">Harvard  Law School</a> in 2009. She is a member of the Massachusetts bar and is currently serving as a law clerk for the Honorable Juan R. Torruella of the First Circuit Court of Appeals in  his San Juan, Puerto Rico chambers.</p>
<p>Dalié&#8217;s first article, <a href="http://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=1471603">&#8220;The  Distribution of Assets in Consumer Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Cases,&#8221;</a> will be was published earlier this year by the peer-reviewed <a href="http://www.ablj.org">American  Bankruptcy Law Journal</a>. The article recently won the <a href="http://www.brownsims.com/judgebrownaward.htm" target="_blank">Judge John R. Brown Award for Excellence in Legal Writing</a>.</p>
<p>Before law school, Dalié served as Director of Special Projects and  Budget Director in the office of Massachusetts State Senator Jarrett  Barrios. Her responsibilities included technology and banking legislation, immigrant and civil rights legislation, Spanish-language  media and special projects. Dalié has also worked for Hewlett Packard’s government relations office as a customer privacy officer and as an analyst for the Texas Instruments government relations office also in championing technology, trade, and commerce issues.</p>
<p>Born in Pinar del Río, Cuba, Dalié emigrated to the United States via  the Canary Islands in Spain.  She attended high school in Miami and graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with dual degrees in electrical engineering / computer science and political  science, receiving over $250,000 in merit scholarships to attend college.</p>
<p>She currently sits on the board of <a href="http://www.friendsofcaritascubana.org" target="_blank">Friends of Caritas Cubana</a>.</p>
<p>In her free time, Dalie enjoys photography, running, and yoga.</p>
